ABOUT ME

Author Paul Arneson

Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel.
My military career included postings in seven U.S. States and several overseas locations. I was also professor at the National Defense University in Washington, DC, before ending my military service as the Transportation Director for Strategic Airlift on the Air Staff at the Pentagon.

I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and in 1968 married my wonderful wife Betty, graduated from the University of Minnesota, and started the 30-year career in the Air Force.

My recent book, I Closed Too Many Eyes: A World War II Medic Finally Talks, is about my brother-in-law, Bayer Ross, and his life before, during, and after the war.
